So there's a saying that goes "Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are".

This is based on the principle that you are relatively the sum total of the five people you spend the most time with or those you call your friends.

"Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are" .

Have you ever spent a weekend around people who swear a lot and by the time you get home you caught yourself saying "what the $@£%" to your sister who stops to put her drink down and asks as if she didn't hear what you said!

Or better still we all have that one friend who has gone to the America for one week and comes back talking like he was born there.

We have a high propensity to pick up things from our environment by virtue of spending lots of time there. The same principle can be applied in the positive to say if you want to become something, get in the company of those who already emulate those values or attributes. Your friends are your wing-men or women who keep you going when it gets rough or will be the voice of reason when no one else will tell you the truth.

Be careful of the company you keep!
