Farai Gundan is the founder of Farai Media which is a global communications, media strategy, and branding agency. As the founder of two other tech start ups Farai is no stranger to the entrepreneurial scene. In 2013 this saw her being named in the Forbes 30 Under 30: Africa's Best Young Entrepreneurs 2013. She was also been named in the MIPAD 100 in 2017. She is the recipient of the 2016 “Special Recognition Award” by Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) and also the Media Excellence Award which she received from the African Women Awards. Ladybrille Magazine named Farai as one of 20 Influential African Women Entrepreneurs in America to watch in 2015.

She is a recent graduate of the Masters in Public Administration program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and an Edward S. Mason Fellow.  She serves on the Board of Advisors for the Harvard University, Africa Policy Journal. Farai is also a World Economic Forum Fellow, Young Global Leader and a Dangote Fellow.  She also holds an MBA.


Amongst other things Farai is also a radio and TV personality and has featured on various international platforms. Gundan also spends her time writing for Forbes, CNN and Essence where she writes about about entrepreneurs, women and rising stars of African descent.
